EXAM FX INSURANCE PRELICENSING INFORMATION
Step 1: Complete a state approved online pre-licensing course
You are required to complete a state approved online pre-licensing course before taking the state licensing exam. To earn this pre-licensing education course Certificate of Completion, you must complete and pass this simulated open-book online exam with a score of 70% or better. Once you have successfully completed and passed this online course. Your Certificate of Completion will be issued on the spot, which you may download in PDF format. Step 2 - Apply for your State License
You must use the online application service at www.nipr.com. Additional licensing application guidance may be accessed on the National Insurance Producer Registry website, HERE
Step 3 - Schedule your State License Exam
Visit your state’s official .gov government website OR by visiting this national state testing provider, PSI Testing Excellence, HERE to schedule your state life and/or health insurance exam.*Some states require you to schedule your state exam through their .gov website, and other states offer the convenience of utilizing PSI Testing Excellence. PSI has excellent customer support. Should you have questions, we suggest that you use the “contact us” feature located in the top right corner of their website.
Step 4: Pass your State License Exam
On the day of your exam appointment. You must bring with you one valid form of government issued identification (driver’s license, passport, military I.D., etc.) that must contain your name and photograph and your Pre-Licensing Certificate of Completion. You will not be able to take your exam if these requirements are not met.
*Note: Some states allow online proctor supervised state exams in lieu of in-person exams.
